Matting
and Framing Our Archival Art
Prints
Matting and
Framing of our Signed
Art
Landscape and Nature is
only for the prints we have printed. Most
of our customers do the framing themselves.
Local frames pick up are supplied with
Conservation UVglass. Shipped frames have plexi-glass
to minimize breaking during shipment.
We
use only the best
conservation
methods and supplies. We
use All-rag matboard
and only use Conservation U/V
glass by True-Vue to block harmful
uv light sources. The matting is All-Rag,
Museum matboard, 4/ply buffered. We use
Alphamat - Artcare by Bainbridge which has one
of the highest quality matboard's available
today. The color of the mats we pick are
off white and neutral whites to compliment the
print with the frame. Mat widths are noted
below for the size print and frame. If
you require a different size, please email us.
We do not stock every frame size and molding
and therefore a 1 to 2 weeks time is needed
to custom make your frame.
We
find the moldings we carry offers
some of the best possibilities for
most customers. However,
many customer choose to purchase the prints
loose or matted and do the framing themselves
or locally at their favorite frame shop or gallery.
We do not do custom matting and framing
of outside work.
We send our customers to local
Galleries or Art Framing shops in town.
